Here we go—another endless-budget, Steven Spielberg-led creation. Possibly the highest-budget film of the year from the man who brought us E.T.

I’m very wary of these large-budget films, as they tend to become overly sensational and lack depth. They often trade nuance and character development for explosions, flashing lights, and brain-dead visuals for audiences to ooh and ahh at.

Nonetheless, I hope this movie delivers something special beyond its visuals—something that leaves us with a truly memorable masterpiece.
